I cant wait to see the day that somebody actually puts an interesting note on this thread, apart from the usual list of toyota's, Nissans etc, which they use to tow their camper trailers with.

Something interesting like:
1. Experimental hovercraft
2. Ex coldwar Soviet T 62 Tank they bought on ebay,
3. A james bond style sports car with all the secret Q Gadgets (flamethrowers, ejection seats) which can make towing a camper trailer also that much bit easier (also bought on ebay).
4. The delorian sports car time machine off back to the future (ebay naturally)
5.  A Devouted Camper Trailer enthusiast who follows the Armish faith, and pulls his T Van camper with horses.
6. Somebody with big muscles and an ego like Arnold Schwartzeneger, who believes he doesnt need a vehicle to pull his camper trailer, preferring to do it himself.
7. Approx 50 Alaskan Huskie Sled Dogs, pulling a camper trailer up to Cape York.

Now if you were getting thread responses like this it would be more interesting to read.....

I just noticed it and I really like that you can change your vote if you change cars!

Pretty much sold the Cruiser Ute now and will be shopping for a family 4x4 very soon, test drive coming up on Thursday Cheers!
Then we will be halfway there, when finances allow again we will be looking at our trailer set up, probably not looking at a camper trailer as such but just an offroad one for the camping gear.
Car wise we were looking at dual cabs but considering we're likely to have to tow a trailer of sorts anyway I think we'll be going for something else, something that's not another Landcruiser but that the  Landcruiser Man at heart might find an acceptable alternative. Grin

Just changed my vote...

Got sick of 'LandRover tax' every service, so have just sold the Disco. Have to say I'm sad to see it go, we had a love/hate relationship - as most LR owners do!

So we went out and got a Prado.

2000 model GXL with the Kimberley leather pack, foglights etc. Very happy so far, looking forward to saving some money over the next few years!!

Changed my vote from "Don't have a 4wd/Awd" to Toyota Hilux! 1st Place

(apologies to Gonewalkabouts as this is not a funny nor witty post about tow buggy!)
