Darryl
When the chips are put in, do people also upgrade their exhausts? Will the new exhaust be needed to get rid of the extra heat/exhaust fumes or will the factory one be ok for a little while ? Thanks

Hi Mal
I still have the standard exhaust but I beleive that if you up grade the extaust you will be able to run the chip at a higher setting witch in turn should produce more power

thanks mate

Hi Darryl

I just thought I'd let everyone know that I put one of the TDC chips in my Navara 2.5 yesterday & it has made a big diference. I took it to a guy to put it and he put it on his dyno machine. It went from 125h/p to 142h/p. He told me he has put it on setting number 8.  You can definetly notice the responce when you take off from standing still. Anyway I'm very happy. I've already told 2 people I know with Navara's to get 1.

Hi Darryl

I've been considering fitting one of your chips for some time now and have been impressed with the good feedback you've got on this site.

While I agree the performance figures you've quoted do seem impressive, what I want to see is how that extra power and torque is delivered as this can have a huge bearing on real life results.

Would you happen to have a dyno graph showing the before and after results of one of your chips on a CRD Patrol (pref manual)?  If so, could you publish it on this site?

Thanks

Darcy

Hi Darcy
sorry mate I dont have dyno charts ( even they can be missleading at time )
The best way is to talk to someone with one
DOB54 has fitted one on to the Patrol i'm sure he will tell you all about it
Thanks Darryl

Hi glend
We have fitted a chip to a 2.8 Wrangler 4door, the owner was happy with the power gains it was a lot more responsive and reduced the turbo lag.
Hi SpoonyAU
The only chips we sell for the Toyota Engines are to suit the Common Rail D4D 3.0lt and 4.5lt V8 sorry but the 04 Prado is not a Common Rail .
Thanks and Happy new year Cheers
Darryl
