Breath In - Breath Out.

« on: January 18, 2010, 09:50:18 AM »

As i know how expensive it is to run a forum and website (i run one myself not 4x4 related) i notice that there isnt a noticable place to make dontations for the up-keep of this site. Any thoughts on making a section for people to make donations, along with a reward for people who donate they get a "supporter" icon on there profile. It's common on many forums and something that sure does help.Thoughts?

Good suggestion Ben and obviously Brett has the nod.

I personally would prefer not to advertise the fact I have contributed as this could create a class distinction amoungst the forum members. Just because someone has not contributed does not make them any less a Myswagger, but some could and would construe it otherwise.

 Cheers

interesting point Snow, however ive never come across the issue of "class" that you speak  of on the many forums that use this system. Support and be proud of it, if you don't then don't feel guilty, just support if and when you can, even if its $1.00

Thanks for the offer Ben but I have some stuff in the pipeline that should start to cover the cost of the forum and also give our members some apparel to wear.
