We are still on the lookout for our perfect camper trailer and as such we soak up all the information relating to camper trailers we can.
So my question for today is.....
What product/gadget/anything on your camper is the one (or two or three....) things that has been the most useful to you and why?
We are still tent campers but hopefully not for too much longer. We have a canvas cabin tent and my absolute favorite thing (apart from it keeping me dry when it rains - except for that one time, but that's a whole other story!) is the pockets up the wall. There are about 12 of them and they are about 20cm sq. I love them because they can hold anything and everything in them without the need to go searching. It just makes finding those small things that get used fairly regularly so easy - especially with the children.

I'm keen to follow this thread ... it's gonna be a good one I reckon.
When I still used a tent (hasn't been for awhile lately alas), it had a hanging shelf sort of thing which hung from four points and central on the roof. Fantastic for chucking the keys and torch in during the night. I'm thinking of making one for the camper but we'll see how pratical that will be in a few days. Mine also had side pockets but they were hard to find as they were quite low to the ground but length ways along the tent they were a great size.
Our camper has storage over each wheel arch (inside) which I reckon will be great for putting things at night whilst sleeping. The pantry has a slide over shelf which can give us extra bench space whilst cooking.

The walkway on our Extenda. 1. Legroom for my lanky legs to hang over the end of the bed. 2. Turns the end of the bed into a great nappy change area 3. Easy to get up in middle of night without disturbing partner 4. Great place to stuff everything you can't be bothered to find a proper spot for come packup time

My favourite thing on my Tardis is the lockable lid and tailgate .. My most un-favourite thing is lack of storage space .... Of course Solar charging goes without saying -- LOL ...
Cheers

A Duetto 12v/240v hot water system. Hot showers at the end of each day are welcome and the hot water at the sink is so handy.
