FYI those heading north

Still raining and 5 vehicles with camper trailers have been stuck on the track since thursday, all are safely parked on the track but are in a difficult area where they are blocking all traffic
Daintree still to high to cross with another vehicle getting swamped yesterday trying to cross it.
Rescue is underway today to get the 19 people stuck out to better conditions and food, track is blocked and will remain blocked until vehicles can be recovered.
Please do not attempt the track until you have been notified that it is clear again, otherwise you will only be adding to the traffic jam.
Track is very wet and slippery, still raining and has been every day for the last week, no sign of clearing until the weekend at the earliest
